Azure Data Engineer

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem. You will design robust data pipelines, manage data workflows, and enable analytics and reporting across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Build data solutions using Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Azure SQL
• Manage data lakes and warehouses
• Optimize data processing and performance
• Implement data security and governance practices
• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, external systems)
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines
• Collaborate with analytics and BI teams

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with data modeling and warehousing
• Knowledge of Spark or Databricks
• Experience building REST API integrations
• Git and version control workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI
• Azure DevOps experience
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Knowledge of streaming data (Event Hub, Kafka)
