About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Data Bricks Engineer / Modeler who is passionate about building scalable data pipelines and transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design and implement high-performance data solutions using Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Spark
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows
• Develop and maintain data models (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional models)
• Work with large structured and unstructured datasets
• Optimize query performance and data processing jobs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews

Requirements

• Strong experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
• Proficiency in Python or Scala
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles
• Experience with SQL and data warehouse concepts
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Git and collaborative development workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with Delta Lake
• Data Lakehouse architecture knowledge
• CI/CD for data pipelines
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
