About the Role
We are seeking a MAS Test Lead to establish and manage the quality assurance strategy for a major migration from IBM Maximo 7.6 to Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9).
This role will oversee testing activities across the migration program and ongoing enhancement releases, ensuring the reliability and quality of the platform within a regulated nuclear environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy for MAS migration and enhancement releases
- Lead test planning, execution, and defect management
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing
- Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure quality delivery
- Manage test environments and release validation processes
- Track defects and ensure timely resolution
- Provide quality reporting, metrics, and risk assessments
- Support deployment readiness and release validation activities
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- 3+ years supporting IBM Maximo implementations or upgrades
- Experience leading test teams and large testing cycles
- Strong understanding of:
- Test lifecycle management
- Integration testing
- Defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- UAT coordination with business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Nice to Have
- Experience testing Maximo Application Suite (MAS) implementations
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Experience in utilities, energy, or nuclear regulated industries
- Familiarity with integration-heavy enterprise systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD release validation practices
